The project involved the construction of two new ultra-efficient data centers for a leading Canadian telecommunications company in Canada. Each data center has 25,000-SF of office space and 77,000-SF of data hall space. Both are designed to a 16 MW capacity, which gets deployed incrementally in 2.75 MW modular pods as required. Using an ultra-efficient new modular design, the datacenters saved 124,000 MWH per year.
The facilities are certified LEED Gold by the Canadian Green Building Council and have a Tier III design, that is certified by the Uptime Institute. The company was awarded the Uptime Institute Green Enterprise IT award for facility design innovation and was selected as Canada’s Clean50 People’s Choice “Top Project” Award.
